Is sleeping on your side safe within the first few days/weeks post op?

I am six days out. I am worried I may cause any damage or stall healing but I have always been a side sleeper. I do add pillows for support.

I slept on my side from the first night after surgery. It was the only way I could get comfy, hugging a pillow on my side. No problems for me.

Ditto - side sleeping since the surgery. If you have no pain, you're fine :)

I just used a pillow to support and protect my tummy. Felt good and dogs couldn't kick my stomach.
