Stalled :(

I'm a year and a half out and I have only lost 85lbs. I have not gained any and I don't over eat and I am very active. I'm scared I'm stuck at the weight I'm at. I need to get another 45 lbs off to be what I consider healthy and successful. Staying motivated is extremely hard when I am all alone at this...alone any suggestions?

Don't give up! I am with you. Four months without a pound lost for me. I have kept up or increased my exercise and finally the weight is moving again. Keep your fluids up and your exercise vigorous. Your weight will move again. Also check the veterans page and look for posts about the 5:2 diet. Many of the veteran sleeves swear it was their secret to getting the scales moving again

I am having the same problem I am also about a year and a half out and I have gone almost three months with out any weight loss, I have not reached my goal weight yet either. I haven't gained more than 5lbs but i still don't think I should be gaining any weight at all and still Gould be loosing. I don't over eat and when I finest it is not a lot. Any suggestions on what to do or what I can change to eating to continue my weight loss?

I hate stalls I am 9 months out almost 10 and I lost 110 I am so happy I am trying to loose 10 to 15 more before my year post op SW 300 CW 190 my goal is 180/175 I am very happy tho just frustrating to get the last few pounds off it's very hard but I am not giving up so let's keep trying

I have to share that once I limited my sugar grams to less than 25g a day weight just comes off. Slowly but off. I allow myself 50 total sugar grams to account for sugar in Greek yogurt and any milk sugars. I use dannon Greek 80 calorie yogurt and mix it with fage to get tons of Protein. I strive for at least 80g protein a day.

I also added strength training so built muscle.

this has gotten me too the finish. I lost 110 lbs in 9 months and this change got me the

next 25 in 6 more months.

I don't worry about fat or other carbs too much. my diet is usually 45-50% fat a day. my losing calories were 1300 a day. I am 5-10 but I think it is best for most people to eat at least 1200 to avoid deficiencies. just my opinion though.

good luck.

Lindsey, you're not alone! That's the only thing I want to add to the suggestions above. Keep posting, keep reading, keep sharing, and you'll get through this.
