body attitude change after you made the decision for WLS?

Although I have never been a fan of my body at this size, it seems that after I finally made the decision for WLS my already poor body attitude just went down hill fast. My large stomach frustrates me more, my lack of clothes makes me angry than ever. I finish my 3 month weigh-ins on July 6th and then I will have everything to submit to insurance. I am so annoyed with this body, I'm not sure I can even make it that long!!!

I am wondering if anyone else has had these feelings once that decision was made??

I did. It was sort of my way of giving up. I mean, now I was officially, medically overweight, and a medical team agreed I needed surgery. That was like, this problem is too big for you,sit back and we will take over.

Not saying that's how you feel, but that's how I felt. It helped me big time to keep reading this forum. Eventually I got into work mode, but it took time.

I hope you find some mojo here. You're worth the effort this surgery will take. Good luck!

I am the same way. It's like I'm more aware of my size than ever. All the more reason for a drastic change. We had become too comfortable being large and were able to ignore it.
