  1. I'm afraid I've lost focus already. I've been on a stall for quite awhile but I'm not eating perfectly either. Everyday I say I'm going to do better and it doesn't happen. Feeling pretty down
  2. Stalls suck!!!!! Going on 11 days!!
  3. I was sleeved 7/14, which means that including preop I have been eating liquids and small portions of soft, low carb foods for over a month. I have to say, I'm missing eating. Obviously I was addicted to it, which led to my situation. But I'm having a hard time adjusting to how much I want to eat versus how much I should eat. Seeing just a few tablespoons fills me up physically but not mentally. Anyone feeling a little like this?
  4. Anyone feeling weak? I was sleeved on the 14th and it just seems everyday I feel weaker. My arms and legs are heavy like I've been working out but I've mostly been resting. I'm not at my protein goals like most but I am taking my vitamins.
  5. I'm stalled too and it is frustrating but I still feel thinner. Clothes are loser. Image in the mirror is smaller. Trying to focus on that while the scale is stuck. Hope your stall is over soon!
  6. It's just all the fluids they pump into you. Don't sweat it. It will be gone before you know it!
  7. My 3 week stall came early. I lost 14 pounds the first week but only 3 pound since. I know I'm not moving enough but I still thought the weight would fall off at only about 500 calories a day... Hoping to get over the stall soon
  8. I'm two weeks out and starting soft foods. I'm having a hard time gauging how much to eat at once. I have noticed I can eat one boiled egg and half a cheese stick but anything more makes me feel right in my throat. Tonight I tried soft meat and what I thought was a right size portion. I felt good so I ate two more bites and now I have the fullness pressure. We are supposed to stop before this point, right? How do I know when to stop before the pain begins? I'm thinking particularly with new foods. Once I eat it, I get how much I need...
  9. There is one the third Thursday of every month at northeast baptist
  10. I'm worried I can eat too much. For lunch today I had a boiled egg and a cheese stick. I did feel full afterward and my stomach did spasm some when I ate but it spasms with water, too... How much can everyone eat at one meal?
  11. I did not have the reaction to cheese like I did the shake... No bathroom needed and I actually got to chew something. Best of luck!
  12. Y'all look fabulous! Cute couple!
  13. Best full liquid food choice so far is low fat cheese stick! Going bold with a boiled egg tonight! Took my two year old to a theme park this morning. We both needed a two hour nap this afternoon!
  14. Got moved up to full liquid today. I've tried half a protein shake and it seems to have run right through me nervous to try anything more complex
  15. Had my 1 week post op appt today. Down 14 pounds since surgery and. 29 overall! Whoop whoop
  16. Sounds like the infamous 3 week stall... Not looking forward to mine but at least we know it's coming
  17. I'm sticking to the basics. Chicken broth, sf Popsicles, sf jello, and water. Today I had to go to eat with coworkers so I ordered chicken tortilla soup and just drank the broth. It was much tastier than the carton stuff and baby sleeve liked it.
  18. I completely feel your pain. I only told my parents and husband and specifically said not to tell anyone as we live in a small town and word travels fast. Well, my husband told his family. I am not a crier but I certainly cried I that. I feel so betrayed and hurt. I really chalked it up to his not ever having weight problems and not understanding why it was such a big deal to me to keep it a secret. It simply wasn't his secret to tell.
  19. I'm jealous of everyone who got full liquids after surgery. I have had nothing but water, sf jello, and chicken broth for 7 days since surgery. I'm starting to look at food and just wanting one bite for jolt of flavor and substance. I know it's easy say that is head hunger but after no calories for a week, isn't it real hunger too? I don't get yogurt or pudding or cream soups till 11 days out
  20. I am allowed only clear liquids until my first post op appointment on Thursday. After a week of no calories, I'm starting to feel pretty weak...
  21. I think I'm finally hungry. I'm ready for a couple of bites of food but I don't think that will happen for a few more weeks...
  22. Had surgery on Monday and my tummy has been thundering since. I thought I had walked most of the gas out, no gas pain anymore. Does this sound effect ever stop?
  23. Feeling like I turned a corner today. I was sleeved on the 14th and I finally felt like putting on makeup and walking around the dollar store today. Hoping to go to work on Monday.
  24. I have the same pain. I thought it was from the main incision but it's really between two incision. It's the only part that still hurts at 5 days post op. Looking for it to go away soon
  25. I am 5 days post op and only able to have clear liquids. I tried jello today and to my surprise I was able to eat a whole cup. In fact I have yet to feel full. I assume this is because I am still healing. My dr didn't say anything about measuring yet but I thought I would check to see how this compares to others. Am I overdoing jello?
