So is it just me? I have discovered a little vasovagal response that when I eat a little more than I should, I wanna sneeze...LOL...

Don't laugh..ok..go ahead and laugh but I guess it's better than puking at the table. I am 9 months out and just started having this issue. Not complaining. I just find it interesting...

It is normal for some people, my x-boyfriend had that issue and he never even had WLS, sometimes the after dinner sneezing was just uncontrollable, but hilarious. ;) At the time I had googled it and this was an article that I thought was very helpful - http://www.everydayhealth.com/internal-medicine-specialist/sneezing-after-dinner.aspx

Oh, honey!,, it's been the NORM for me since the beginning ! Once a certain amount of food "hits" a certain spot I begin to sneeze. Usually at least 8-9 TIMES! Yep, always! Drives my husband nuts. Like I can stop it! Lol. And the people keep saying, "Bless you"', "goodness". "Wow". Bahaha

Wow. This is so normal on the lapband board (which I used to frequent before my sleeve revision 11 mths ago) but had no idea it happened so much to sleevers also.

When I was sleeved, if I took 1 bite too much, I would hiccup - just once - to let me know I've had enuf. Now, nuthin. Cept a tummy ache if I take 1 bite too much.

I'm a sneezer! My husband thinks it's hilarious and try's to make me sneeze every time. This is what got me in this mess! First time I sneezed with real food, I wasn't expecting it and had a mouth full of food! It shot out like a cannon! I couldn't stop laughing, sneezing, and trying not to pee all at the same time! I'm a hot mess...but it is still funny! Good times!

Ah, yes, the sneezing, the hiccuping, the burping! I burped a lot when I started on solid food. Sometimes I still do the burping thing, but my new symptom is a really loud and squeaky hiccup. It's really embarrassing when I do it at work. It can be even 20 minutes after I've eaten. All is well, then suddenly... "HIC!" - the hiccuping didn't start until at least month 5 post op. So embarrassing. :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
