Please do your research before going out of the U.S to get the surgery. My sister had it done and is doing great and lost all her weight and we went on that info only, unforunatly the other 4 people I have met including mu husband did not get so lucky.

MRSA usually responds well to Vancomycin. Because I had several other medical problems, I chose to have my surgery in the states. As an RN I can tell you that MRSA is NOT uncommon in the U.S. I hope your husband makes a full recovery. Do you have any details to share?
