No energy, I am exhausted!

I am @12 weeks out, down @52lbs. Where is the burst of energy! I am so tired, I have zero energy! I am getting in my protein, hydration, B12...I feel so drained! My thyroid numbers are supposedly normal, I am 52, I am menopausal, anyone have some insight or suggestions of what I should try.

I'd say its pretty normal. I was exhausted until about 4 months out. It gets better! :)

How long have you been so exhausted? Has it been this way ever since surgery? How long has it been since you were checked for anemia? Are you including any red meat in your diet?

Forgot to mention, I am vegetarian BUT I am eating fish, eggs and dairy. Yes, I have been exhausted since surgery, I am not anemic.

You need to add more complex carbs to your diet. That is your bodies primary source of fuel. If you search "complex carbohydrate foods" you can find of list of foods you can choose from to incorporate into your diet.
