Hate the attention from my weight loss

Am I crazy that I hate it when people comment on my weight loss. I absolutely hate it.. First off I'm not one to have any attention ok maybe just not to much attention .on me lol..

I am Having a hard time with how other people see me it's crazy I'm sick of the fuss they are making about my weightloss. I'm not a show and tell puppet. It's becoming annoying crazy as it sounds I'm tired of hearing I can barely recognize you how much did you lose etc... Why so caught up on the number I'm the same person I always was Inside. I never thought I would be called skinny at first I loved it now I hate it. My aunt commenting on how small my clothes are well I'm yes 12 is a lot smaller than a 22/24. Yes my band helped but I'm working it and working out 4-6 days a week.

My brother thinks I'm too skinny and is worried really wtf I still feel I need to lose another 50-60 pounds ....

The sagging skin and sorry guys for tmi the deflated boobs are hard on my self esteem lately. When I was 22.24 I never said do I look fat now at a size 12 I'm questioning it...it's crazy cause I never saw me as fat now I can't see the slim down version of me.

My self image of me is altered. Yes I'm working on that with help. I hate seeing people who I haven't seen in a while at first it was fun and great for the ego n now I hate it .

This is a crazy crazy post I get it but today my neighbor made such a fuss over me I wanted to die ... She said her daughter didn't recognize me well guess what I have no idea who ur daughter is now do care.

Then I have people who don't notice n I love it cause to me that means you saw me for me not what I looked like if that makes sense.

I know I can't be the only one who feels this way... Any pointers on how to cope ?

OMG! My mother ( who is overweight ) is obsessed with my band! She wants to know what I've lost EVERY DAMN DAY! She watches every bite I eat! She constantly asks " can you eat that?" If I even cough or hiccup while eating she asks " are you gonna throw up?" I've tried telling her to get over it politely but she doesn't get it so I limit spending time with her to NOT meal times. It's crazy. No one else even pays attention. I wish she would get her own band! Lol!

Sweetie...she does want her own band. She's watching you like a hawk because she's imagining herself in the same position. So when she asks if you are going to throw up, it's because she's wondering if she gets the band, will she throw up. Sit down with her calmly and talk to her about getting the band. Tell her both the good and bad...or whatever your experience has been. She wants to do it, you just aren't seeing it because she's annoying you. Really...please talk to her.

I've only had one person pay attention to what I eat. She's a co-worker of mine who used to comment on what I was eating...you know, stuff like, 'can you eat that?' or 'is that all you are eating/are you eating too much?' I know her questions were out of concern and not mean spiritedness so I'd answer her quickly and move to another topic. Now, she doesn't say anything. Everyone I eat lunch with is used to what I eat and how much I eat so it's a total non-issue. It helps that I'm not banded so while I cut up my food into small pieces, I can eat fairly normally time-wise. I don't have to chew to a pulp or eat really really slow. That helps.

I noticed it says your not banded ,I was under the impression you were , or maybe it is a miss print ,see I do read what people post before I hit the Like button lol

Hi Deb. Where does it say I'm not banded. Right in my profile it says lap band. I want to make sure that's accurate... If it's not, I'll have to follow up with Alex.

@@gowalking your profile does say Lapband. Maybe she's on a mobile app???

@@gowalking, in the text of your post you typed that you were not banded. I think you meant to type that you were not filled. I noticed that too the first time I read it.

Yeess...honey, you're right. I just looked back at my post and realized I said banded when I meant no fills. Sorry about that bit of confusion....

I thought it was a misprint as we have spoke on this site SOOOO Many times and I did see where it says you are a bander under your profile, but where you have the sentence about Everyone you eat lunch with, keep reading then you can edit maybe I know my laptop , tablet, computer , & phone , well you know these digital things have a mind of their own and mine usually skips a let or 2, NO WORRIES or A BIG DEAL , I was just looking out , that's all so if any newbies read your post, because you are a insperaitonal person.

Yes under her profile , but in her paragraph post read it all the way a little ways under where she is talking about when she goes out to lunch or has lunch with people and I was trying to help because I know she has the band I have been communicating since we started , but if any newbies really read I want it to be accurate for them , because she is a great person and could be a motivator for someone else also, I on a laptop.

OK, I fixed the text so no one gets confused. Thanks for pointing it out...I want it to be accurate as well.
