Hi I've had the lap band for almost two years, I love 60 and gained 30 back the band has been a horrible experience , they are offering me the sleeve but I'm so scared, between the 3 risks and the thought of loosing a good portion of my stomach, I'm sure I'm over thinking it any thought or advice.

I always wanted to talk to a person with a lap band. I have only met one in the year I have been either preparing or having my sleeve. I think it all boils down to commitment. If you want to lose weight and really want to commit to that goal. Then look at all of the success stories on this forum. You will see time and time people that are happy with their results and are living their lives the way they should have for a long long time. You don't need a football size stomach to be healthy as I and many other people on this forum has shown. If you have reservations about removing most of your stomach then don't do it. But look at the results you already have with the band. Your not happy and you need to make the decision to continue with your progress or do something that will yield more permanent results. You can email me off line and we can continue this dialog if you would like.
