Hi everyone - I think I began the yogurt, cottage cheese and applesauce too soon, cause it all kept coming back on me. Maybe I tried to eat too much - a few times. I learned my lesson. Do any of you recent sleevers get pains in you tummy when you eat? I, also, have been constipated. Think I'll take something, too. Well, I'm about to go for a walk before the University of Michigan football game starts. Have a great day to all.

I know Sleeversue. It was awful. I wish they would finally get rid of the coach. They have a number of really good players on their team, but the team is only as good as their coach - and he's awful as a coach. It's so hard for me to watch a whole game now. I really thought they would win yesterday. Big disappointment!

When you started on yogurt - what kind did you use? I can't seem to stomach the plain greek nonfat - even blended with bananas and strawberries - it's just too sour.

I eat Dannon Light and Fit. Lots of great flavors in four packs and some individually in great flavors like Raspberry chocolate.< /p>

I'm disappointed in Devon Gardner. He should be better this year. He was doing great as a freshman. Now as a Junior or Senior he acts and throws like a freshman. Disappointing for sure.

That's what I ate before my surgery. I'm going to go back to it. It seems as if it's been so long since my surgery and it's only been 2 weeks and 3 days. I've tried some different foods - but I either just get so full or throw up. I think that I'm ready for some things, but I'm not. Well, let's see how Mich. does tomorrow against Rutgers. My son and his family live in Boston and they are driving to New Jersey for the game. I hope they won't be disappointed. He hopes that they lose every game this season so they will get rid of the coach and athletic director for sure. My family is made up of an ex-husband and 2 sons who are Michigan through and through - from undergrad through law school and medical school, and my present husband and 2 daughters are Mich. State through and through - so we live in a divided household (I'm Mich. too). I keep telling my husband that I wish Mich. would hire the State coach. I wish we could bring back the days of Bo!

Hello everyone. I'm going to be 68 in a couple of weeks and my sleeve surgery is scheduled for November 10th. I'm so excited! I'm having a hard time trying not to pack my hospital bag already! I still work full time and am planning to only take one week off work. I work as a paralegal so it's not hard physically. I can rest when I need to. I've worked for my attorney for almost 25 years so I have him trained well.

I went to the hospital on Monday 15 and went home the next afternoon. I was sore in my stomach but was well controlled by pain meds. I had a numbing devise that I came home with. That really helped. The hardest part of the surgery for me was only getting half ounce of Water until the upper g I was done. Since my surgery was at 3 pm I waited until the next morning. But I would not change any decision I made. I went for my three week check and am down 31 pounds yahoo!!!!

Sharon thanks so much for the information. Tomorrow I find out the exact date this month I will be having surgery. Being older can be different with the surgery then when you are younger. The doctor I chose doesn't normally do surgery on people older then 65 but when he met me he said he wouldn't have a problem since I am not the typical 67 year person so that made me feel better.

Being older just means you might heal slower. I did great. I was told by next week I can get in the pool. That will be four weeks out. Not bad for us young gals. Keep in touch and let me know know how your doing. I am excited for you. My doctor told me to go to the store and pick up 20 and 10 pound bags of potatoes and know that is how much your body has lost

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
