To all that got through the 2/3 weeks of the pre op diet

I tip my hat to you all!!!!! I was required just 2 days of Clear liquids and it was the HARDEST thing I had to do. I’m on day 2 and it’s a little better. Surgery is tomorrow morning.

LOl...Thanks! Good luck on the big day tomorrow!! :)

Thanks...Good Luck..& Prayers.

Thanks!

Good luck to you...

actually the first 2/3 days of the liquid diet were the hardest...after that it seemed (for me) that it went easier, so it could be that...

I just did a week of easing into the liquid diet with one regular meal a day and occasionally using a bar instead of a shake. My surgery is about two weeks away and I have to do three shakes a day plus a lean cuisine and a cup of vegetables until the day before surgery when it is all clear liquid. Last night was my 30th anniversary, so we went out to dinner and surprisingly I managed to keep my food in a reasonable parameter! It helped but I did not want to see the scale go back up after already losing a few pounds. I hope I can lose more in the coming two weeks though. Good luck on this to everyone!

Haha! Thanks! I've been on 4 Protein shakes a day since 3/25. The first two days were super rough! After that, it got a lot easier.
