Hi Y'all,
I am curious how many people that are 6+ months out have found things they cannot tolerate, and what those are. I know there are a lot of people that can tolerate anything, but I'd like to hear from those who have found problem foods.
I have found that strong cinnamon (like Good Earth tea) and sour candies like sour gummy worms (yeah, I know, I shouldn't be eating them anyway) cause actual pain in my stomach within a couple of minutes of eating/drinking it. I like sour stuff and cinnamon, so I'm a bit sad to give these up, but every time I try I really regret it, so they are off the list.
I can eat pickles and drink Chick Fil A diet lemonade just fine (lemon juice, splenda, water) because it isn't terribly sour. However, some of the other diet lemonades (made from citric acid, not lemons) are not pleasant at all on Sleevette.
I take Omeprozole every night to control acid.
What's been your experience?
