Im SO excited! Ive waited a full year from the date i decided to go ahead with it for my health insurance waiting period to be up (i wasnt covered for the procedure until i upped my cover) so im definately ready!

I definately think its going to be a challenging journey but im more than ready :-)

So good to have others experiencing the same thing to talk to about it!

Yes im having the sleeve early july :-)

Do you guys have to do a preop diet? I wanted to start implementing changes now so that's it's not such a shock after surgery...

I'm in nursing school and im way too much fast food and take out due to lack of time ...I have to get it together beforehand because my Dr doesn't want me gaining any weight..

All my dietician said was to start having 5-6 small meals a day rather than 3 main meals. Drink plenty of water - small sips constantly instead of large gulps when you're really thirsty.

Ive cut out majority of soft drink & i was a smoker & have since quit!!

All small changes that i think will help alot :-)

Yay! How exciting! Im in Australia though - where are you?

Im in chicago,il :)

Are you guys having the sleeve in July? I am in either late June or late August... I can't wait!

Mine will be between May-August. I haven't totally decided on a date yet
