Hello! This is my first post. I am pre-op - had all my tests done and now waiting for the surgeon to scedule my surgery. I was not scoped yet - does everyone get scoped before surgery??? Also, what does PB stand for???

How long was your hospital stay with the hernia? Was it any longer than a normal lap band? :phanvan

A hernia repair does not add on to a hospital stay. It literally takes one suture to fix it. Had my doc not told me I would have never known he repaired anything.

It's absolutely nothing, honest. Think of it this way, if you cut your finger and it required a stitch, how many days in the hospital would that require? None, right? Same as with a hernia repair. It's nothing.

Sorrry, off topic: Wasabubblebutt -- WOW! That's a lot of weight to lose in a short time! Did you do anything out of the ordinary to lose it? Impressive.
