Eating only one ounce of food

I six week post op and can only eat one ounce of food. I can drink 60 ounce of water but get full at one ounce. Anyone having this issue. My nurse said that I should be eating a cup.

I'll be 5 weeks on Monday and I can eat 1/2 to 3/4 cup.

Wow. That's great. I have to talk to my surgeon about my issue. Hope I just need to heal. Still on soft diet. Can't tolerate stage 4 diet yet until I am eating more.

I'm between 6 & 7 weeks and can barely get down 1/4 to 1/2 cup. Not doing low carb like I should, but average 650-850 calories a day. Am stalled now, so really need to start exercising and watching carbs. I'm only down 32 lbs.

My loss is 35lbs and I am about the same as you postop. I need to eat more. Did get 1/2 cup down of low fat Manhattan clam chowder soup tonight. Was so happy.
