  1. My loss is 35lbs and I am about the same as you postop. I need to eat more. Did get 1/2 cup down of low fat Manhattan clam chowder soup tonight. Was so happy.
  2. Wow. That's great. I have to talk to my surgeon about my issue. Hope I just need to heal. Still on soft diet. Can't tolerate stage 4 diet yet until I am eating more.
  3. I six week post op and can only eat one ounce of food. I can drink 60 ounce of water but get full at one ounce. Anyone having this issue. My nurse said that I should be eating a cup.
  4. Thank you. I don't drink but I take pain med a Tylenol. I see the surgeon. Next week so I will know more. I read somewhere that weight loss can cause the liver enzymes to go up too. Thanks again.
  5. Anyone liver enzymes AST and ALT was elevated after surgery? Did it come back down or stay up? I was sleeved on 1/30/14 and my liver test came back elevated. Due to see my surgeon next week. A little anxious about results.
  6. I lost 13lbs on my 2 weeks preop diet. It was 3 hakes and 1 meal consists 1/2 cup whole wheat carb, 1 cup of non starchy veggies 4 oz of lean protein.
  7. I got my date today. I will be sleeved on 1/29. Nervous of course but getting everything ready for my stage 1 diet. Will see the NUT on Friday 1/10. Looking forward to that. Can't wait begin my journey.

  14. Meeting with surgeon on Tuesday 1/7/14 to get my date for Sleeve. My date should be the end of January. Scared and excited. Please say a prayer for me while I do the same for you.
  15. Any one heard of Dr. Fakulujo. He is with Kennedy Stratford NJ. He is partner with Dr Neff and Dr Goldstein. Getting nervous. All preops evaluation done. Waiting for surgery date.
  16. Anyone heard of Dr Fakulojo out of Kennedy Hospital in Stratford. I finished all my preop requirements and will see surgeon 1/7. Getting nervous need more info on the surgeon. Everyone I talked to never heard of him and it's making me nervous. He is partner with Dr Neff and Dr Goldstein. Thanks for your comments and info.
  17. I am preop and my NUT have me trying out protein shakes. I can't drink Whey protein either it makes me sick. I tried J. Rob Egg protein shakes. It comes in Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. I like the Strawberry the best. It has a little bit if soy in it. Doesn't bother me at all. It has 24 grams per serving. Hope this helps. Praying that you have a speedy recovery and success in your journey.
