how long did u stay put of work after being sleeved?

My surgery os next month and was trying to plan ahead. Was wondering how much time people took off after surgery

I was approved for 6 weeks of FMLA. I have an office job as well. A friend of mine went back to work in 2 weeks. I may depending on how I feel stay home 2 weeks and maybe work from home a week.

i had the lap band originally, but had problems with it so we did double surgery to remove and add

gastric sleeve. There is really no need to take time off unless you want to, as it is not going to cause that much

trouble. this is not a painful surgery as the cuts are so small.

My surgeon says 8-12 weeks because I travel a lot on business so he wants to ensure my eating habits can adjust.
