Goal for March 31st - 202

Weight on March 1st - 216

Weight on March 8th - 212

I have seen 210 on the scale this week but today I'm at 212. Not worried. I seem to get to a new number then dance up and down it for a while before another new low finally appears. Ten pounds in the three weeks left of March is a little ambitious but I think I can do it if I exercise like crazy.

The only change is from my Dr. visit. I have been taken off all blood pressure medications. No weight loss to report.

March 1st: 194

March 14th:193

Hey it's moving in the right direction. Got my 1st fill today, hoping to make up for some lost time.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the blood pressure post. One week w/o meds and my bp is holding steady. Yay!

Not going so well over here! I'm actually up a pound from the beginning of the month. Going in for a fill next week and hopefully between that recommitting myself and getting back to the basics, I can get things going in the right direction again! GET IT TOGETHER, TARA! YOU'VE GOT 34 POUNDS TO TRY TO SHED BEFORE AUGUST! lol

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
