Discomfort in apron

I am about three months post op and have lost around 100 lbs from my heaviest. I have recently been experiencing discomfort in my lower stomach area ( the skin my doc calls my apron). It's almost like a bruised feeling. Has anyone else had this feeling? Is it due to the weight of the hanging skin?

Short answer....yes. Try using powder, vaseline, or deodorant. If your apron continues to cause discomfort you may want to consult a plastic surgeon. Insurance may cover it before you reach goal if doc says it's inhibiting your continued weight loss progress & exercise. Hope this helped.

What about the shape wear? Will it lift any of the skin up? I agree pick up some powder, stay dry when ever possible air the area to keep moisture away and prevent yeast infections. Trust me its not fun! Having problems with that under my girls and fighting it
