7 days until my sleeve surgery and I have a bad cold

I am so scared my surgeon will postpone my surgery because of this hellish cold! Does anyone have any suggestions on a quick fix for the common cold? I'm on day 2 of this cold so I have 7 days to get better. All you faithful people out there please pray.

See your GP and get it handled. Don't wait. I had a sinus infection going in to my surgery. In fact I spent the weekend before my Monday surgery sure I would be postponed. But they went ahead and did my surgery because my infection wasn't to bad come that day. They said I would be getting antibiotics anyway that would treat my sinus infection too, which they did!

Dear Kking, I'm so sorry. I'm having the surgery on Tues Feb 4th.. So we are close together... I would see my GP right away...just to get checked out... Than start with chicken Soup, OJ...Tea with Lemon, and lots of Water..FLUSH IT OUT.. kEEP WARM and REST...BUT see the GP to make sure it is not something else. Your Surgeon will like that you got checked out... and will feel more comfortable going ahead knowing you took care of that... Good Luck and keep us posted....JewelJ PS.. ZERO. sports drinks.. THEY ARE WITH THE GATORAID.. only ZERO CAL...
