Congrats! I saw on a couple of your old threads that you have Tricare. I do too. I'm glad you got approved :-)

Congrats to you and wish you the best!

I will be banded on February 28th! Is anyone else as nervous as me?

I am excited and nervous! 17 more days to go :-)

Surgery scheduled for valentine's day how romantic!

Hello everyone,

I'm having mine done on the 19th, today is the first day of my liquid diet. I've woken up with a cold, so not actually feeling hungry at the moment, which is a blessing in disguise.

I'm allergic to milk, so my consultant said I'd just have to do my best with finding suitable liquids

finally been able to get online ..im post-op 3 days I got banded Feb 6th so far so good I do have some gas pain as expected I hope it goes away soon ..im excited

I'm scheduled for 6 a.m. Monday, the 17th. I'm very nervous and afraid that I will screw it up, but yet I'm feeling very hopeful and positive. (If that makes sense.) I've been told to just do "low fat" for two weeks before surgery to shrink my liver. At my pre-op appointment, my surgeon said I had eaten too many carbs. (But I have been eating very low fat foods.)

I tried unjury (Strawberry) and it's not so bad tasting. I'll probably go out tomorrow and get some more Protein powder. My nutritionist said to try it out beforehand in case I really hated it and had time to get something else.
