Plastics on you face. Would you or did you ?

Recommended Posts

I know most of us seriously contemplate plastics such as breastlift n Tummy Tuck but what about face work? I never thought I would b one to consider it but since losing weight my under chin area is seriously sagging. Does it tighten up any after awhile? Im 49 going on 50 soon. I know I'm ok with everything else concerning my face..I think its a blessing to grow older but without the excess skin under the chin.

Of course I would have plastics on my face if I dislike a sagging neck, chin, jowls etc. with today's technology there is a whole lot going on...search all treatment avenues available. I always told my husband that I would get one when I feel I need it. I have funds marked as my facelift money fund. Haha. I am kind of lucky cause I have really good body tone so my face or neck is not there yet for a lift. However, I have had juvederm injected by my mouth for some creases. It lasts for two years. If u do consider having one soon.. Do your homework and find a reputable plastic surgeon. Ps my sister had a facelift years ago and still looks 10 years younger with her neck and face lift.

I don't know much about plastic surgery, but I have to say those Lifestyle Lift commercials on TV look pretty convincing! :)

Having swapped at least 2 chins for a slightly wrinkly neck, know what I prefer, lol - and I would have a neck lift to sort it if it gets worse or really bothers me. As for my face, I am happy to age gracefully :-)

I had a face lift. I could not stand the way my face and neck looked after I lost weight.

i went to Mexico. He's supposed to be a very good surgeon. However, my face is still numb after over 2 years. I've heard of others that have numbness that never goes away, but I really don't know how common it is. I hate the way it feels, but I love the way it looks.

A few years ago I lost 75 pounds and hated my saggy neck. So at 32 years old I had a neck lift with fat transferred to my face and lips. Best money I ever spent!!

When I go to a new doctor and they ask my surgical history they are shocked to hear of someone as young as me getting plastic surgery. And it also looks so natural you would never know it!

My mom had bypass 5 years ago and lost weight quickly. All my friends said they thought she looked better heavier, but i think it was just because of the loose skin on her face and neck. She just turned 48 and her skin has tightened up a lot from what it was and no one thinks she's pushing 50! If she did use any serums or lotions it would have been from Walmart and probably generic brand because that is how my mom rolls.

In a heartbeat!!! I just turned 60 Jan 2nd and my face gets more and more wrinkles and crevasses. LOL. Especially since live lost another 10 pounds. Seems like in the last few months it has gotten worse. My neck improved some with the extra weight loss for some reason but am , I would love to just do neck and bottom of face.

I would if I needed to. So far fillers and Botox are doing the job.

I love my face lift I am 61 and people tell me I look 45 all the time. I just wish my face was not numb.

He changed the whole shape of my face. I used to have a very round face. He sucked out all the fat and now I have cheekbones.

I will definitely explore fillers but don't know too much about them. I wish my neck wattle was gone....but I would feel uncomfortable changing my face drastically just because...

Daisy I am so glad you mention the numbness because I have a numb belly button and it's weird. I really have to consider that numbness risk to the face carefully.

I would really like to find more people who have had a face lift and find out if this numbness is realy common.

I keep wondering if he had not removed so much fat out of my face, if the numbness would be the same. I don't know where the nerves get cut.

I am a nurse for a plastic surgeon. He does a lot of face work and the numbness happens to everyone. not to be graphic but the nerve endings have to reattach to the new face and it takes a while to do that. Same with someone that has liposuction. The nerve endings are detached. It could last up to 6 months. How long ago was your surgery?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
