Hi there, I am new to this forum. I have my first consultation with the surgeon next Friday March 30th:) . I am so excited but also nervous.

I have been reading through a few posts and it is so good to see that the majority of the feedback is positive.

I will be having my surgery done in Dublin and I was wondering if any of you have any advice as to questions I should be asking the surgeon next week.

Hey folks - its a long time since I've posted here, but I

guess its the time of year when weight loss is the hot topic. My band has basically been redundant the past few years- I lost weight myself through diet and exercise but its crept back on plus some extra. I need to take some action with my band, one way or another. Be great if we could bring this thread back to life...and to see some of the old faces again and hear their stories !

Only you can decide.... You have a tool you probably can utilize.

Don't worry about dr opinion... They are there to serve you, and trust me, they have seen it all!!

I'm years and years post op banded and still have to work at it!!
