The sleeve is relatively new to my bariatric center, so they keep patients for 2 nights. I was there 3 due to some cardiac "fun". Was soo happy to go home!

Surgery was 12/23/2013 at 7:30 a.m. Could have gone home next evening (Christmas Eve) but doctor decided one more night wouldn't hurt since I had not been up and around much. So, I went home Christmas day. My insurance had approved for five nights.

One night.

Overnight for me.

i was there one night only. the dr said i could stay another day if i wanted. i actually did want to, but there was no one available to pick me up the next day. i hope you have someone who will help at home. my bf's mother stayed with me for a week to help with my 2 children (ages 2 and 5)

Mine was done on outpatient basis - I was in admitting at 6:00 am and back at the condo by noon the same day (I've actually had dental work done where I was away from home longer!)

I slept for 3 hours when we got there, then got up and walked every hour, including thru the night...just pacing thru the condo.

My surgery was on a Thursday and I was in pretty good shape by Monday. I worked 1/2 days the following week - I telecommute, but was able to sit at my desk and work with no issues.

Me, 2 nights....but the lady next to me only 1 night....same surgery, we got sleeved. Honestly, I didn't want to go home in one night. The first two days were HELL for me!
