Well I have 2 doctors down! . I got the go ahead from the cardiologist. I'm not sure about the psychiatrist eval though! She said she would call me within a week if there is a problem and she can't clear me for surgery. She said if I don't hear from them that's a good thing. I hope I don't hear from them! What exactly are they looking for anyhow?

They look for reasonable expectations, are you thinking surgery will cure you of all your problems, do you understand this is a tool not a miracle,

Sbailey, do not worry. This will be a piece of cake. You are on the road to the surgery, and your cardiologist eval was more important than the psych. The evals are routine and insurance companies/doctors want you to be prepared for this surgery. It is not to be taken lightly. It is a forever lifestyle change. Thankful for the surgery!
