How long ago did you get your implant put in? I had one put in about 3 weeks ago and was told for the first 3 months it basically would be non stop bleeding. But after that it is usual for it to go away or just have a light one.

I hope this helps. I can only go by what my doctor told me.

I had mine put in June 2013 and Just the first month was bad. Heavy bleeding and cramping but now I don't have a period and I must say it is lovely. But keep in mind that everyones body is different and reacts differently.

Thanks for the responses I have had it since may 2013 I didn't have a period for months but since surgery it's been non stop but my doctor said it's because of all the hormones due to the weightloss

I had it put in after my son was born 2009 (it was inplanon then) and I bleed for about two months but then didn't have another period for a little over a year.
