I'm the same way! When I make a decision, I'm ready to act on it. I've got my pantry stocked too! :-)

Decemberroses, it's close to March 11th! How are you doing?

Anyone else going to Dr Almanza? Pretty quiet on this board ????

We just landed in San Diego. Have to wait until 3pm for the Jerusalem Hospital Shuttle to pick us up. Just glad there is WiFi. LOL

I'll be posting video throughout the days of my experiences. Visit youtube and search for my channel: Daves VSGliving

SENDING YOU LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I will be there in 7 days :-)

Dave, keep us posted. I subscribed to your YouTube videos, but I still want to know you're okay. I still haven't heard from Decemberroses, and it worries me!

Border3, how are you doing my friend? I thought about you all day, and also Decemberroses who still hasn't checked in "after" surgery with Dr Almanza. I wonder if you're forbidden to use social media or something? Let us all know how you're doing.

I'm here, don't know what happened to Decemberroses or Borders3. Unfortunately, I'm last today :-). Hotel Ticuan is lovely, old, but classically lovely. Everyone has been so great. Well, I'm about to go downstairs and get on the van. If you read this whisper a prayer. Love to everyone.

I've been here and there. I just got a bad sore throat after I got home and have been really tired and drained. I hope your surgery goes fantastic and you have a quick recovery, drowdie!

Decemberroses, you're okay!!!! I'm so glad yo wrote in today, especially as I lay here waiting with my legs wrapped, IV in, and wondering when???

I have Andres, the male nurse till 7:00pm. Maybe, I'll have the surgery before then. Hope Border3 is okay. I wonder if you got the sore throat from the general anesthesia.

Are you on puréed yet? Thinking of you and appreciate your writing in today.

I bet it was from the tube in my throat. I'm still on liquids right now. It was hard to really care about getting anything down the first several days. Now I try to get that protein in because I know it will help with healing. How many are in the room with you?

Walk, walk walk...yes, I have a sore throat too, may be from the general. My roommate in the hospital is not fairing well. She's in great pain. Andres says the only pain medication Dr Almanza uses is Tramadol. No morphine or Oxy. Shes not been up. I walked for 30 minutes. The day female nurse took a did

Ike to me, I think it's because I was very nervous and when she came in for the first time, to introduce herself, she said, as she was holding our paperwork, "are you here for the "sleeve?" I thought I was being funny when I replied," What? Oh, I thought I was here for a tonsillectomy?" I could tell immediately she thought I was being a smart pants. I apologized, but she has steered clear of me all shift.
