Been a while since I showed my BP pals some love...I'm 10 days out doing really good with my sleeve. Taking it day by day. I pray all is well with you all. (All who have been sleeved this month and all that are still waiting in line). So excited to be on this journey with each of you! Cheers to us for taking this big leap and re-claiming our lives!

Home day 2 from surgery. Pain, no meds because of nausea. Had drain and lidocaine wires taken out. Can't get liquids in, only maybe 30oz. 5 lbs down atleast. Bad headache prob from not being hydrated enough and freezing cold laying under 2 blankets but no fever. Any words of wisdom? Is anyone admitting to not getting in fluids and all being well? Lol very tired.

They should be able to give you something for nausea. Call them. You need to be able to take your pain meds and drink to prevent hydration problems. Try some pedialite to help get you back on track.

I was sleeved on Jan 27th. Today is the best I have felt so far. Much less sore, more energy, etc. I still have to be careful moving around, but each day is a little better. Bored out of my MIND because I am off of work until Monday. Cannot WAIT to get back to work!

Wow Tate, you sound exactly like me! Sleeved on the 27th also, and although still a little sore, starting to get bored. Going for a walk later, heading back to work on Tuesday. Are you off pain meds yet?

BryBro--- yeah I am off the pain meds. I have not needed anything more than Tylenol since Wednesday. And I am going for a walk as soon as I finish my Protein Shake. :)

My surgery was on Tuesday - came home yesterday and feeling great. Still on clear liquids with the addition of Protein Shakes can move on to full liquids tomorrow. So far today I've been able to intake about 16oz of liquid and 24g of Protein. I am feeling quite full, so I have to stop and take breaks yet I'm concerned that I won't be able to get in all my protein. Does anyone have some advice on this?

So glad to hear about all the successful surgeries that have taken place this month. For those who are on deck, the amazing experience awaits! Stay strong!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
