My surgery was 1/31 at 3:00 pm I was not discharged until 5:30 2/1. I was in a lot of pain and if I wanted the Dr would have had me stay but I was afraid insurance would not pay. So I went home and was actully glad I did. I was actually able to get un-interrupted rest.

My doc does all outpatient unless he has reason to believe they need to stay overnight. I'm hoping to be banded in April sometime. Best of luck to both of us! (and pray I am outpatient because I am self-pay!
