Crossfit Article... Didn't There Used To Be A Fitness Forum?

Recommended Posts

Maybe I have gone blind, but I don't see the fitness and exercise forum anymore.

Anyway, I saw this the other day and thought it would be interesting to discuss. Basically, discusses a muscle destroying condition that can happen from over training. The level at which I do crossfit (well, haven't done it in awhile due to my plastics, but anyway) is not intense like this so I am not too worried. I also protect myself - ie I don't push through pain or injury, but i still thought it was interesting.

The Fitness forum is now under the General Weight Loss Surgery category. It's all the way at the bottom of my screen on my iPhone.

I do Crossfit too. It is what you make of it. If you are sensible you will be fine. If you go in and over do it you could easily put yourself into rhabdo. Interesting article.

I make sure and subscribe to the forums I like. You can subscribe just like you can with threads. Then they are available under Subscriptions in the app or in Content I Follow in the website.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
