Rasssafrassa, Son of a @!#$%

Recommended Posts

Well, I just got a phone call from my surgeon's office and they had to reschedule my consultation appointment for a week later. It was going to be the 20th, which was great, I'm on vacation, it's perfect! But...he's not going to be in town. So they gave me the option of the 27th of March or into April. I took the 27th...duh :)

I guess I should be happy it didn't get postponed until May or something.

It's just been a very long year to get to this place, every further delay will stink.

You will make it I promise, I know it's frustrating waiting now that you know you want to have the band. But the wait won't be forever, just hang in there, you can do it :)

Poor girl, I understand. I have had those disapointments too in the past. It seems like it will never come. Hang in there, someday you will have what you want.

Thanks everyone. I just told myself that it's a good thing because now I can see the surgeon AFTER I see the cardiologist (who I am seeing for a previous condition) and I'll have a chance to get him to write a letter and fax it up so it's there before my appointment. I'm hoping that this will actually help speed this along. :) I was going to see the surgeon on the 20th and the cardiologist on the 22nd, now it will be the cardiologist the 22nd and the surgeon the 27th.

Thinking positive :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
