Has anyone tried doing T25 by Beach Body? I'm about 12 weeks out and 70 pounds down. Still 212 though. I was interested in trying T25 but am concerned that it may still be to intense for me. Also concerned that I might hurt myself trying it. Anyone one else try it? How was it?

Oh currently my workouts are walking with weights for 30 minutes every day. I need to start doing more but it has to be something I can do from home and doesn't take a lot of time.

YES - tried it while I was about 170 lbs (so about 20 lbs ago) and finally sent it back. I had been doing a lot of High Intensity Interval Training workouts for about 35 minutes at a time and thought I could hang with this....NOPE! It wasn't really the pace so much as the lack of instruction on FORM. I think if you already know good exercise form, you would probably be OK. I like Shaun T and they offered modifiers for the less athletic to make the moves easier. Plus, the short 25 minute total workout time was wonderful.

If you get it - let me know what you thought...

I just started doing it and the p90x. It's not bad. If you need to you can modify. Like I can't get off the ground or down into the ground. Atleast not nearly as quick as they do so I modify.

The key is keeping your form and you'll feel it. I really like it

Oh cool. Thanks. I intrigued by the T25. My husband has insanity and its ridiculously hard for me. I'm still quite heavy (5"2' 194lbs) but need something that will tone me better than the resistance bands. I have been walking 30-60 minutes a day for a few months. I feel like I need that little something extra.

Hello, I was sleeved a little over a year ago and lost a good amount of weight in the first 6 months. After that it has been stall after stall. I came across the BeachBody programs( T25, P90x-P90x3, Hip Hop Abs, Brazilian Butt Lift). I have been doing the T25 with the Shakeology Protein Shakes and feel great. I have broke my stall and love that I can workout when I have time and it only takes 25min of my day! If you have any questions, I'd love to answer them!

I plan to do some yoga for my toning and strengthening. I have strict personal rules about high intensity for 6 months.

I bought T25 a few weeks ago. When I am released to workout next week this is what I'll be doing. I'm so excited!

I still have not gotten this program but I'm still intrigued. Almost 6 months out now. 93 lbs down. I'm currently working on running a 5k in April.

I've not tried it yet, but interested as well. Although overweight I've done fitness boot camps that included high impact aerobics and HIIT training (I think it's called). Anyway, loved them so I think id be willing to give this a try.

I am 2 weeks post op and I just bought T25. I think it's a little too soon to start so I plan on using the Walk Away The Pounds videos as well as walking when the weather permits beginning in week 3. I was wondering when did everyone feel up to exercising? I still find that I am tired a lot of the time.

If you have the energy and desire to get it done with T25, by all means, push play and never look back. You do want to make absolutely sure your body can handle it as a post op though. Maybe make sure you can push yourself that hard before trying it. It will be challenging. It was a year post op before I got into anything intense like t25 and built up my cardio strength with running before that. I am currently doing p90 x and really enjoy it. T25 is in my future, probably after I work through p90x2, insanity and asylum. It is not that I do not want to do it now. I do. And can. However, I want to do some of these other programs first to build up some beach body background. T25 is probably like doing a long AMRAP cross fit met con (those usually max out at 30 minutes, averaging at 20 minutes). An AMRAP cross fit met con 5-6 days a week is intense! Be sure to stretch, do yoga, acupressure, whatever on your 1-2 rest days a week. Your body and your mind will thank you.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
