Abby, worry not at THIS end. Follow your program and get to your target weight in a healthy way. Then there are MANY tricks to stabalize and maintain.

I understand what u are saying. You want to look healthy and vibrant. You will. Drink the premier protein shakes and keep your protein at 80-90 and u will feel good. Also take that nuiron150 I hear it helps with hair loss. This is a great forum go to your month under support group. You will make buddies!!!

Thank you...oh i went to my group but nobody for dec 14 there are some people who have 3 and 4 buddies but i have none.. :-( i would definitly keep in mind what u said though... bcuz i dnt wanna get 120 thats what my weight should be and i told my doc that....so imma see what she has to say in our last meeting

my start weight was 255, and 6 months + 1 week later I am down to 160. I stalled the first time around 4.5 months at 174, broke that and have recently stalled at 160. My goal is to be in the 130's (I really don't care if its 139.9 but I want to be in the 130's). From what I have been told there are some tricks on maintaining your weight, but that you need to worry less about that and more about making sure what you do eat is fuel for your body. Make your calories count! Thats my best advise.

Oh Abby, you dear thing you made me laugh out loud. :)

Okay, you're going to find that the number of people that have to actively combat losing weight by increasing calories are a minority. I mean...they're here, but they're really rare.

Most folks? You'll see them crabbing and complaining that they're having a heck of a time losing the last stupid ten pounds. I had to buckle down and work hard for more than six months to lose those last pounds.

I doubt you'll need to worry. Sadly, it's far easier to stop losing or to gain weight than it is to lose it once you hit a certain point.

Indeed, focus on working on a diet that you can continue with in maintenance, so that you find it easier to stay at a constant weight once you've reached your goal.

Good luck,

~Cheri
