Not a good week for me.... I was in the hospital for 2 days. I was working out and passed out. My hubby thought I was over doing my workouts and my hea went up to high but come to find out I was dehydrated... Ugh !!! I was pumped up on fluids and had a gain and then a loss.

Total loss from HW: 77.8

Total loss since SW: 64.4

My 1st goal weight is 175. I'm 5'5 and possibly hoping to get to 150-160. Hopefully I can get to one of them by my surgiversary.

Hi everyone!

My apologies for being MIA for a few weeks. I've been keeping track of everyone's weight loss. I need to ask a favor...if you could please start doing your posts in the following format I would appreciate it...it would help me tremendously:

HW (High Weight)

SW (Surgery Weight)

CW (Current Weight)

TPL (Total Pounds Lost)

TGP (Total Goal Pounds)

The Total Goal Pounds is how many pounds you are wanting to lose in total. The reason for this is because if you haven't posted for awhile, I have removed you from the list, which means that I no longer have your info, and how many pounds you are hoping to lose...or if you newly join, and start posting your numbers, I don't have your goals. This also helps all of us see how close you are between your total pounds lost (to date) and how many pounds you are hoping to lose.

If you have any questions, please let me know...thank you so much for using this new format...it will keep me from having to manually adding up each person's loss for the week which will make it quicker for me to post our numbers (which I will do in a separate post)

Total pounds lost to date - 2591.1

We're amazingly at 71.9% of our goal...already in just 6 months! Congratulations everyone...you're doing a fantastic job!

72 lbs to my goal weight! Total weight lost of 66 lbs from my highest weight! I feel great! I'm so excited about the new me. My goal weight actually changed during the course of this journey. After losing 66 lbs and it taking me down 3 clothing sizes, I decided I probably wouldn't like how I looked at my original goal weight which was 150 lbs. I don't strive to be thin. I like having a little thickness to me. So my new goal is 170!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
