December 2013 Sleever Pounds Lost Log

Recommended Posts

Don't forget to take your measurements sleevers! I'm doing it every two weeks, some are checking once a month. It is important because we all eventually hit a stall but if we are shrinking still, it will keep us motivated and less frustrated.

Happy New Year!

After being readmitted Friday for dehydration I am still at the same weight. Feel a little dis heartened but know it start dropping again. To see the scale sit at the same weight for 3 days is hard. I started eating this week a few things and just want to go back to Protein Shakes but know I can't. Have to keep moving forward to heal my sleeve. I don't know. I am only eating 2-3 oz 3 times a day and getting my Protein in but I think the hospitalization had a lt to do with it.

Maybe next week I will have a lost to report

Off all three diabetes medications including insulin.

Off three blood pressure medications and two other medications.

Number of pills take per day reduced by 60%. This was my straw that broke the camels back. When I put all of my medications in a Walmart bag the bag burst from how many there were. That was my wake up death is knocking and I need to do this WLS. Don't get me wrong, cosmetic weight loss for looks and getting into normal clothes will be nice but reduction in health issues were the #1 goal for me.....and it is working already this early on my journey.

It is 2014. Never again will I step on the scale and see the 310s, 300s, 290s, 280s or 270s!!! 268.5 today and I am sooooo happy I could do cartwheels!!!!!!

Hi Mary,

The last entry I have for you is from the 29th. I just wanted to see if you had lost anymore to get to the 268.5 today. If so, let me know and I will add it to the spreadsheet - just let me know your total pounds lost!

Congratulations and Happy New Year to you!

This couldn't be more true! Thanks for posting it. I have lost 20 inches so far in all of the places that I measure. In fact, my bra is down to the inner most hooks...will have to buy a new one soon! Sometimes that is much better than seeing the number change on the scale!

No worries Tonya...it will start back up again! I think the hospitalization had to do a lot with it as well! We're cheering you on every step of the way!

This is AMAZING!

I admit, I decided to be a rebel, and didn't start back up on my cholesterol medications following the surgery. I have been taking my BP medications, but have started to feel light headed these days, and realized that now my BP is pretty low, so I am discontinuing those as well (I have a doc appointment on Friday to confirm, but I don't think they will have any problem with me quitting them, since it's making me feel so lousy).

This is SO great, and I am so excited for you! Congratulations!

My goal is 150 and my surg date was 12/4.

Tammy, just so I have your numbers right, is the 150 your goal weight, or how many pounds you want to lose? I'm looking for how many pounds you want to lose, so I just want to make sure I am reading your post correct.

Also, if you have any weight loss to report so far, please do so...I'll get you down on the spreadsheet!

Welcome to the group!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
