Oa After Being Sleeved? (Sacramento, Ca)

Has anyone started going to Over eaters Anonymous since being sleeved? I know that the surgery is only a tool, and that I need to work on myself mentally as well. A part of thinks I don't really need it, but I have tried everything but OA to try and lose weight, and I am only almost 2 weeks out! I do not want to fail in this.. i can't imagine getting this surgery, spending all this money only to gain it all back and be miserable again .

i am in the Sacramento, CA area if anyone needs a buddy or some support! :)

I have not gone yet, but i just started therapy with an addiction specialist that deals with eating disorders, she suggested i try the meetings. I am just two months out and have lost 42 lbs. im super proud of that but around Halloween i started slipping and realized how easily the candy went down. Im trying to catch it before it get out of hand. I will post my thoughts once i get to a meeting sometime this week.
