Does any one have to use these? We are required to use it and it is very expensive. I have been onthe preop diet now for 10 days and the flavors of shake soup and pudding are not bad over all. Just costly. I don't see many people using them on here.

Hi. I am a Lap Bander but if you ask me it sounds like a money maker item for the doctor. I buy Body Fortress at Walmart for under $17. in chocolate and love it. I have a shake every morning for breakfast over 1 1/2 years now. Ask your dietitian for money friendly names. My original dietitian liked a $65. drink. Needless to say I drank what I could afford.

For our pre op we are required to use this one but afterwards we are free to choose. My pre op diet is two weeks some people have to do a 4 week pre op diet.
