I have seven more lbs to lose before I can have LB surgery. Getting frustrated; ( I need a support team/walking buddy/buddies.

Reno is getting so big now;) So happy with the cleanup progress downtown. It's attracting lot's of new businesses. Still no Torrid; ( Have you've been banded yet? If so was it in Reno?

I was banded 9/13 but in Colorado.

Did you have any complications or regrets?

No problems yet. I've only had a couple fills and not getting the restriction I'm looking for but, I'm told that's normal. I started with a low BMI of 33. I've lost a total of 19 pounds including the 3 day pre op. So far I'm happy I made this choice. Do you know when your. Surgery might be?

Hopefully next month or Jan. My Ins requires a 12 week weight loss program & I'm almost finished; ) They also require a certain % of weight loss. As of today I have 5lbs to go. Hopefully I will have it off by next week. Its nice to hear the band is working for you. Are you experiencing any hunger? Was your 1st fill painful?

The fills are not painful at all. I'm still hungry, no real restriction yet. Everybody has told me it takes at least 3 to feel it. My next one is 12/11.

Oh, and good luck with that 5 pounds!

Hopefully you will start feeling restriction soon. That's another thing I'm kind of worried about. I just bought a four way band from everlast. Hopefully those 5lbs will come off quickly. Keep me posted on your fill.

Have you've been banded or sleeved yet?

I'm thinking of getting the sleeve at the end of the year

What made you decide to go with the sleeve?

We'll the band just seems like a lot of maintenance, and the by-pass seems like they play around with your insides to much , it almost seems to me that the sleeve it what I always wished I had. ( a smaller stomach ).
