Good Bras? $$$

I'm losing the most inches so far around my bust. I'm on the last row on my smallest bras, so I will need new ones soon. I usually get a good bra at the lingerie store, so it fits. They have told me that every 15 pounds you should have a new fitting. This could get quite expensive. How are you keeping the girls supported as you lose weight?

My girls are totally deflated. Even my b-cup is underfilled. Someone at my group suggested going to a shop in town to be properly fitted and address my particular problems. It's very expensive but I can buy just bra and once I know what to look for I can shop other places.

I've done this in the past: get fitted and buy one expensive bra and then buy more via Amazon.

While I'm still in the losing phase, I've bought inexpensive bras at Amazon. I'll do the formal fitting at the lingerie store on my surgiversary in October.

I've found some decent molded cup bras on Groupon. There were 6 for $32. They run a little small - so I need to shrink a couple sizes to fit into them. They are nice for the price.

Go to Lane Bryant and have one of their fit experts help find you the right bra for your new size. You can also buy a band smaller and buy a 3 pack of extenders for $8. This will help as you are shrinking down. Then as u become smaller u can take off the extenders and still have good support.

Spanx bras have been the best for me. Bought them at Lane Bryant . They hide back lines and tuck in the underarm skin. Make look smooth in everything I wear. The only thing bad is they do come up high on my back, so tops with a low back tend to show my bra. So of course then I wear Bali bras. Good luck girls!!

I agree the best thing we can do for looks is have a good fitting bra. I can't imagine going to Victoria Secret to buy a bra. Unheard of in my size. I plan on buying some cheaper ones to get by with until I reach goal but I know I must have a good fit along the way to look and feel best. At 39 pounds gone I am out of some bras I own and some fit great so I have a little time but it will be nice to buy off the rack.

I'm a weirdo and I'm just taking my mom's hand me downs. She had weight loss surgery just over a year ago and we have similar body types so she's just saving her old bras for me if I need them, which I'm sure I will. I guess it's not too weird since it's my mom and all, but still.

I can't wait until I can shop at VS again. I like Lane Bryant and Cacique but it'll feel like progress when I can buy a bra at VS!
