Are we supposed to remove nail polish before going into surgery?

You're going to have a pulse oximeter on. You can't have nail polish on or it won't be able to read the percentage of oxygen in your blood.

I heard they want to be able to see if you're turning blue/ oxegyen levels. True or not? Otherwise I'm getting a pre op pedicure.

I was thinking the same thing...I'm being sleeved next Mon n that was on my to do list this weekend....that n my wax job lol

I wasn't allowed varnish on my fingernails, but having it on my toe nails was fine, especially as I had to wear the compression socks anyway! Go for that pedicure, I say!!
