Ladies HELP!

Recommended Posts

OK, freak out mode full on. Hanging out with a guy tomorrow night (first date in seriously 2+ years). I wasn't going to allow myself to date (so messed up) until I hit 205 (I'm 233 as of this AM), but I really want to see him so I just folded. We casually dated briefly about 3 years ago. I was about 20 pounds lighter then, but trying super, super hard not to focus on that (AKA I'm obsessing over it). Need some feedback on this dress from anyone and everyone. Going to wear a cardigan of some sort over it. Thoughts?

AHHHHH

wow! Gorgeous! Whatever sweater you wear, try not to hide your curves that the dress highlights. So shrug or lightweight cardi, not like, you know sweater. With the curves and the hint of cleavage, I think you'll be working it! Love it.

And remember to HAVE FUN.

First off, try and not stress over the date. He is just a man, and trust me, men are far more stress than not. haha. I could easily tell you not to worry, that your beautiful, you should feel happy with your weight loss so far and that if he doesnt like you for you then he is not worth it. BUT, ive been in your shoes, and it is easier said then done. I have been with my man for almost 4 years and i STILL sometimes stress about what i look like, what im going to wear, etc. And through all my experience i can tell you this: as hard as it may be, when you are out with him, do not stress too much about how you look, or what your stomach looks like when you sit down or how your arms look when you take off your jacket, because you know what, those thoughts will consume you and you will end up not having any fun. The guy will appreciate smiles and laughter much more than a woman who cant stop thinking about how they look, cause trust me, they can tell! BUT, have a wonderful time. the dress looks good and you will do great!!

I agree with gamergirl, show off your curves! And I would take off the fitbit, replace it with a pretty Bracelet. And remember that guys don't notice even half of the details that we women notice - he will just be paying attention to you. Have a wonderful time!

That dress is great and gives you great curves. If you wear a necklace it'll pull attention up toward the cleavage area and draw it away from any other areas you'd like to go unnoticed.

Classic little black dress! You can't go wrong! If you wear a sweater, make sure to take it off! You've got to die for curves!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
