Dr. Almanza

I am going to TJ at The Jerusalem Hospital on Dec 5 and having gastric sleeve on Dec 6. Is anyone else sleeving on this day?? Also should I have any concerns. I am excited and ready to begin this new journey of my life but a little anxious... has anyone had the sleeve in MX with Almanza....

I had Dr. Almanza also and I made it.

I went in with my eyes wide open. It is a clinic in a strip mall. I had mine done September 6 th, and my recovery has gone well. I am glad I did it and it has really helped me a lot.

I had mine done there and just got back with my son having his done there. I really do recommend it. It is a strip mall, as said above, so understand that going in. The operating room is just like any other operating room though and the care from the nurses is much better.

When I first started researching the sleeve and medical tourism ... I kept seeing Dr Almanzas name and all his happy patients. I'm sure you're in good hands! I just couldn't do the strip mall thing so I researched further and am going with a doc that operates at a real hospital. But honestly... Jerusalem Hospital does not have a bad rep. In fact there was only one Operating facility that I found to have bad reports and that was Nova Hospital. The comments were that it really was not suited for Medical Tourism. (I'm sure some ppl have had good experiences there, but many had not). You'll be fine. He's super experienced!!!!
