How's your weight loss going, slow, steady, stalled or goal?

I have lost 90+ pounds since surgery on 4-30-13. So I think I'm losing at a steady pace. HW 304 SW 271.6 CW 177.8 GOAL 185. Height 5'10" Pear shaped #faboulusme@43

my surgery was oct 23 of last year almost one year out. still do not regret one minute. I have stalled for the last two months though. but I am trying to stay positive. this is the longest stall I have had thus far.

I had a 2 week stall once around 3 months. But now about 1-3 pounds a week which is fine for me. I met my personal goal, not sure how much further the sleeve will take me. But you're right it was worth it all. Happy happy happy

Slow looser here. Surgery 8/6/13 and have only lost 29 pounds. Just came out of a long stall, but honestly still struggling with getting in all the Protein and Water. But I know I will get there. Need new clothes before I can go into another meeting!!!

Idoyle as long as we are all losing that's what counts. I had a hard getting my protien and Water in as well. It takes time and the new tummy has to heal. We will all get to our goals! In the beginning remembering to eat and drink, take Vitamins, minerals and so on becomes a part time job until it becomes second nature. Take care of yourself :-):-)

I've been losing steadily, however I have been stalled for the past 2-3 weeks.

I have been down this road myself, I'm only 2 months and some weeks but I have had stalls and they do get frustrating. No matter what your sleeved......

I have been at goal more or less since Feb 2013.

In hindsight, the speed at which it happened matters less and less... it is the getting and staying there that count. :)

I've lost 45lbs since my surgery on July 26th. I feel like I am losing at a steady pace and haven't had what I would consider a true stall yet. Some weeks I lose 2-4lbs and others I may not lose anything. But the scale has not shown any gain so far so I will take it. I know I will get to goal and I am trying my best not to obsess about how fast I will get there.

I'm losing at an average of a pound to a pound and a half a week. Not exactly a breakneck pace for someone of my weight but I'm OK with it. I'm eating 1240 calories a day.

Progress is progress.....no matter how much or how little. I have to keep reminding myself of that. Now that I don't spend so much time focusing on the weight loss I am really enjoying this journey! I know I will NEVER go back and that is the most important part to me!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
