I recently got approved and surgery is scheduled on November 4th in Chicago! I'd love to talk to and meet others who are getting or have been recently banded. I'm 23 and living in the Chicagoland area. I'd really love to talk to all of you and track our progress together!

I will be getting my band Nov 7th. Excited and a little anxious. It has been a 7month process because of insurance requirements but it has gone by pretty fast.

One more day to go .....can't wait till Tuesday...just wish the time would go faster !!

I thinks it's all up to the doctor. I am having my surgery Nov 8 and I just have a 3 wk pre op diet and last "meal" between 4-6pm the night before and it's suppose to be a protein shake.

From what I have read on here, every doctor is different! And it also may depend on your BMI.

I should be banded in about 12 hours! This process has gone so quickly! Thanks to all of you for your continued support, I will let you know how I'm doing once settled
