Revision on 8/19 - Cold Feet!

I am having my revision in 3 days......I am getting really nervous......Not about the surgery so much, but how I am going to feel emotionally when I lose my "best friend". I have been eating everything in sight

Whoops - pushed post by accident......Anyway, I am eating so much crap right now since I won't be able to eat this crap ever again......Or, I should say, I am hoping I will not be able to eat this crap again, and I am hoping I have the willpower to change my eating habits for good! If I had changed my eating habits before, with the band, I wouldn't be in this situation! I certainly don't want to end up losing 100 lb just to gain back 125 in 5 years. I am so afraid I can't do this, but I am trying to appear calm and nonchalant to my husband, so he doesn't tell me I should cancel surgery! Any words of wisdom??

You will do just fine, stop over thinking everything because you will drive yourself nuts. You have every right to be nervous and scared because we all were. RNY is a huge help in curving your appetite and you really can't eat that much either. I am 16 months post op and eat regular food but......my food choices are healthy, I learned portion control and exercise are the key ingredients to success with RNY surgery.

Embrace the surgery and worth with it on the positive side of you can and will do this with the help of surgery. Eat good healthy food, in moderation, know your weakness and stay away form them and exercise= success :)
