I'm just wondering if anyone has had their lab results interfere with surgery? I had all of my pre-op labs drawn, ekg, and chest xray on Saturday. I just got a message from my doctor's office saying they needed to talk to me. It's too late to call them back today and I'm assuming they want to talk about my results. So now I'm freaking out that something is wrong and I won't be able to have it done.

I'm going to look into that more. I'm not looking forward to losing hair.

I also got protein shots from walmart- havent tasted it either. I figure postop is soon enough for that torture.

I have tried EAS Advantage chocolate. At first it wasnt too nice but as the days went bye I got used to it. The price is greeat too. I alsotried the Atkins it was nasty. I have howrver ppaced an order for Unjury. As for protein bars I liked the atkins.

I also use the eas carb advantage shakes and atkins bars are good

I actually liked the Atkins protein drinks. And I really love ensure clear, but at 10 grams of protein/bottle, I'm not sure if it will be the best choice immediately after surgery.

Oh, and I've heard a lot about unjury too! I think I'm going to buy the sample pack.

I also tried muscle milk....absolutely awful!!!

I got the Unjury chicken soup and I can't tell a difference. I'm having a hard time with protein though. My NUT is allowing me to use Body by Vi and 1/2 scoop unflavored protein in each shake.
