So sorry about the pain. I had problems with my gallbladder when I was pregnant and know firsthand how painful it is. I haven't had mine removed but my bypass surgeon prescribed Actiga I have to take it twice a day for one year. Did your surgeon prescribe you anything.

My sister had bypass nine years ago and her surgeon removed her gallbladder at the same time he did her bypass n

Nothing yet for gallbladder hoping to talk to Dr this am before my follow up endoscopy in an Heather.

Anyone have gallbladder issues before or after surgery? I'm almost 5months post open & think gallbladder is going ..so many symptoms appearing now...painful.

Oh yea my gallbladder had to be removed around 6 months I would get really bad pain in my left side after eating and get random pains mid chest. They did my blood work for my 6 month check up and said my liver enzymes were really high. They ended up doing an ultrasound and said my liver looked fine but I had gallstones. Also another symptom I had was I would have to use the rest room not too long after I hate and would get burning in my intestines which after the gallbladder surgery seems to improved. Hope this helps.

Pretty soon you'll have to drop the"Big" and just go to "Wojo". :-)

6 month updates!!

According to my moms scale I'm down 102lbs. :-). Guess I did good on the cruise after all. Id like to lose at least 72 more lbs but would love it to be closer to 100. At any rate; in ecstatic about my progress! How's everyone else doing out there?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
