Doc ordered labs and ordered me to go to the ER if I see this again. He should have the lab results by morning. I have a feeling I'll be in the ER before then :(

Yes, Yes, yes!! I hated giving myself those shots!!!!!! Was so glad when I gave myself the last one! Doesnt it seem like the preparation for the shot takes longer than the actual shot? The needle is so sharp and goes in the skin painless, but just looking at that gives me the heebie jeebies! Its a good thing I didnt become diabetic. I would have had a problem.

Hi I'm 10 days post op surgery date was 7/29 and everything going fine. I have to admit this soft food phase is driving me crazy. I want some deli meat and low fat cream cheese so bad lol ! I am counting down the days until 8/26 that's when I should be able to eat solid food again.

Just went back today to sit in an all day conference. I took walking breaks and did ok. I felt great in the beginning, but I was more than ready to go home towards the end! Now I'm super sore and I think it was from being in the sitting position so much.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
