Eating only a couple of bites or one ounce of foods at a time has worked. I wasnt nauseas at all yesterday. Drink about 32 ounces of Fluid, room temperature and a couple of sips at a time. By almost midnight, the 32 ounce container was gone!

Mine went well too! On to full liquids. I had a little more then 1/4 cup of strained cream of mushroom Soup with some melted mozzarella cheese melted in it. It was fabulous! I have to wait 2 more weeks to have an egg but I finally feel I have turned the corner. I also am down 28 pounds since the start of this journey. Glad you are doing well!

Have my first post op appt today. Surgery was 7/2. I am currently down 30 lbs! Nutritionist and surgeon were very pleased with everything. I have no restrictions and can do anything I want! I can eat any anything I can tolerate and he is letting me skip the pureed stange! yay!! Just chew really well. My surgeon always makes me feel so great. He told me I looked great and keep up the good work!!

I just ate pureed chicken and green Beans in a fat free cream of chicken/broth mix. Never thought I would say this but after 8 days of clear liquids....I loved it

Hey Everybody, I had my surgery on July 23rd. Everything is going well kinda of. I never had any pain from the surgery, wounds are healing well. But I am tired like most of y'all keep saying you are. I went out yesterday and it was hotttttt outside. I ended up passing out due to the heat. Had a appointment with my doctor today, he said its due to not eating and my blood sugar dropped. Scared the shit outta of me literally, ended up having my first bm that night! Lol tmi I was wondering how much exercise is everyone getting in. I walk around my neighborhood, and play the wii. But since I'm always tired and feel like I'm over heating I can't do much. I know I'm doing something right because in down 28 lbs in a week . But I feel I should be doing more.

Luvindee.. my walking was pretty limited to around the house for the first week. My one week appointment was yesterday and I received the green light to start getting some Protein in. My wife, daughter and I went for a walk last night and wewent about a mile. Definitely not a fast pace but my goal is to start getting in the habit of setting aside time to exercise for long term success.

For the first couple weeks I only walked 10 minutes 3x a day. Mostly in the house bc it was so blazing hot! But a couple times I walked down my street. I could take a 45 minute nap after just taking a shower! So I understand your tiredness. Around the beginning of last week (week 4) my energy started returning. I'm still exhausted by end of day (I also have a 2 yo) but I'm not napping during the day! 28lbs in a week is awesome! I'm down that but it's been a month today! So perspective. Your doing well! Keep up the good work!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
