Hi and welcome to LBT! I was banded 3 weeks ago and am so glad that I have my band. This site is full of support, knowledge, and advice. I encourage you to ask lots of questions and read as many posts as you can. Best of luck to you! Gigi

Hello everyone! I am new here but have really learned a lot about the lap band proceedure. Tonight I attended my first information seminar. I was so nervous that I threw up in the car on the way there, but the ride home was just fine. I just hate the idea of going to a doctor or meeting once a week for twelve weeks, but it seems worth it to get a break in my health. thank you all for your posts.
